"Zoom 6-15"

On my maps it states:  "Map Type"  "Size" and "Zoom 6-15".  What does the 6-15 mean?

  That's showing the different zoom levels that your offline map will show at.

  Zoom 6 will show almost the entire US on the screen, and zoom 15 is close enough to show trails, and any other small map details.
