can i install directly in the jeep without using a phone or tablet?

  I very seriously doubt this is doable for two reasons.  First Gaia GPS does everything possible to make sure you have an active subscription and without one they disable access to the maps on your device.  (While advertising that the maps can be used off-line, some of the things they do can leave you stranded without maps in the boonies.)  Second is the Jeep in-dash unit itself.  It's based on Garmin and preciously they allowed users to install their own maps and POIs, but around 2019 they "customized" the version of the Garmin they install to limit and even prohibit use of those features.  I've tried everything I can think of to get around this to install my old off-raod maps and POIs in my 2020 to no avail.
