For those that don't care about efficient segmentation of maps into folders and whatnot, it'd be nice to have an interface that did something like:
- User selects an initial starting point. This will be the center of a circle.
- User also selects whether or not to include/exclude water/land, which may also be inferrable from the maps selected.
- User specifies a maximum amount of storage space to dedicate, or perhaps a radius.
GaiaGPS will download roughly concentric rings of maptiles around that starting point until it hits the storage or radius limit, after having given preview of the area. GaiaGPS transparently breaks this up into segments of <100k maptiles batches so the user doesn't have to do it him or her self.
