Map zoom level preview

I'd like to be able to set the map screen to a specified zoom level limit (say, zoom 13) on either gaiagps.com or the mobile app, so I can preview the level of detail I'm going to download.

  I agree with this request - either set the zoom level or display it on gaiagps.com.  I'm able to display the zoom level on the Android app, but I can't figure out how to display it on the gaiagps.com map.

  You can view the map's zoom level on gaiagps.com by looking at the URL:

  You can also change that value and then reload the page to adjust the zoom level.
