Is there a map legend for the various map layers?  For instance, with the Motor Vehicle Usage Map, is there a legend available that lists what the different colored trails mean?  Or with the Public Land Ownership map, is how do you tell what the different colors indicate?

  Yes, you can view the legends for the Gaia GPS map sources here: Map Legends.
  
  On the USFS MVUM overlay, you can also tap the roads for more information.
  
  The Public Land Overlay will label each block of public land along the border after zooming in on the area.
