Irish OSI Maps

I love Gaia GPS! There doesn't seem to be much use here in Ireland however - I haven't heard anyone talking about it and no references to Ireland in the forums, but wondering if Gaia included an option to pay for Irish OSI 1:50000 Discovery maps this might change? I'd pay for it!

  Thanks for the feature request. We looked into adding OS maps, but unfortunately the maps are not currently compatible with Gaia GPS.

  Hi Finn,

  I looked into this some more.

  The issue with the OS maps had to do with the projection of the maps. Gaia GPS needs ESPG:3857.

  The Ireland OSI maps might be different than the other OS maps we looked into, however. On the OSI home page, the MapViewer they provide is also in the wrong projection.

  It's possible they might provide a separate service for 3rd party use, but I'm not sure.

  I'll leave this open as a feature request so we can look into it in the future.
