Best Map Overlay to read Forest Service Road Numbers?

My default overlay on the iOS app is 'USGS Topo' but I notice many of the map sections do not contain FS road numbers. Makes it hard to find locations when trailhead descriptions are referencing FS road numbers. thxs..

  Hi,

  My preference is the USFS 2016 or USFS Classic layers.

  If you have a Premium Membership you can use the MVUM overlay, which shows forest road names, and if you tap on the roads you can get more information about them.

  Awesome!  How often is the MVUM overlay updated?  USFS is updating these maps annually.

  I'm not sure about the update schedule for the MVUM maps -- I sent a message to our lead developer and will let you know when I head back :)
