How to follow route?

Hi, I am new to all of this.

I imported a GPX file which has routes. If I go to the start of the route, how do I follow the route? Do I drive and look at the map?  Will Gaia GPS show me following the red line/route?  I haven't used the app yet to navigate and interested in knowing how to follow the routes. The route i want to follow is about 500 miles long, so you can see why I am concerned. I am using Gaia GPS Pro on Android.

  Hi,

  Gaia GPS will show your location on the map.

  If you want the map to automatically scroll as you move, check out #2 in this article to learn about course up (track up) mode.

  The app doesn't provide turn-by-turn guidance, but you can use Guide Me to highlight the route you are following and show remaining distance and bearing,

  Hello Ashli,
  Gaia doesn't provide XTE (Cross Track Error) indication like some other apps like leadnav or Viewranger?Thank you for your answer.

  Hey @driveanddiveuae,

  That's correct.  The Gaia GPS app currently doesn't provide a Cross Track Error indicator at this time.
