Sharing the App with Myself

I have 2 phones.  Both Android.  Each is more dependable in different locations and different conditions. If I purchase the Android App, is it "transferable" from one phone to the other or am I buying it on a per phone basis.  Stupid question probably but I'm just not clear on how that works. I don't buy many apps

  Yes, you can add the app to multiple devices for free as long as you're logged in with the same Google Play Store ID you used to purchase the app.
