What happened to Gaia Pro?

I have been using Gaia pro for the past year for Search & Rescue.  I just got a notice today to download the new version which I did.  It came in as a separate program from the one I was using.  It had to download all of the stand alone maps I had been using on the old program.  Now I am unable to place waypoints in different colors, one of the features of "pro".  I think I've been kicked out of the pro program.  What do I do?

  Sorry for the confusion. Your GaiaPro subscription is valid until 12/10/2017 and will automatically work in the new app, too.

  In the new app, when you create and then save a new waypoint, there is a 'Customize Appearance' box where you can tap to edit the waypoint icon.
