Upload a GPX/KMZ track to a specified folder, allow upload multiple tracks to same folder
Currently each time I upload GaiaGps.com creates a new folder, I don't want that. Let me put it where I specify and let me reuse the same folder.
I can specify the same folder name to upload to and you know what it does, it create another folder with exactly the same name! That is very bad please fix this.

Confirmed this behavior myself - this is retarded that I can't specify an existing folder to upload multiple gpx files. If I dont specify any folder it creates an arbitrary new folder called "files". If I upload 6 daily track files it creates 6 distinct folders all called "files". Any first-semester computer science major knows this is a very bad practice. Please correct.

I agree. Creating a new folder for each upload isn't helpful. For example, I uploaded 10 waypoints and each time I specified the folder name as "Tetons". Who would have ever expected that I'd end up with 10 folders named Tetons? All 10 waypoints should have gone to a folder named Tetons (the first time I used this name it should have created the folder, maybe after a confirmation).
And per other suggestions, allowing multiple folders with the same name is unlike any OS and quite confusing (at least to me). I was able to use the "File to Folder" command (which seems like it should be called "Move to Folder") to move the waypoints to one folder and then delete the other 9 folders, but that's an unusual workflow.

I don't know when this will be fixed. But they appear to be showing interest in the folder topic again and are looking for input on the following thread:
https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115006737767-Folders-tragically-broken
They are also interested in understanding user folder workflow and so the commentators on this threat might be able to provide some feedback that would hopefully hasten a fix?
