Feature Request: Blank Layers that can be utilized by apple pencil or android stylus, that add write on maps functionality.

Wants:

Layers on maps that can be added, saved, edited and deleted
Able to write on this layer in any color
Editable. Notes, lines etc and be updated, deleted or created at will.
Layer follow same hierarchy already built in with features of opacity etc.
Ability to share layers, using apple drop, email, etc.

Thanks for your consideration. This would really make Gaia a 1 up for Incident commanders when managing resources.

+1 to this! Would be very helpful to be able to write directly on the map using the apple pencil as you would write on a real map with a wax pencil.

As a SAR first responder I could really use this. Currently I make do with taking a screenshot then drawing on it in another app.

I would really love this feature a lot. Trip planning, event management, all sorts of stuff would be greatly improved with a pencil drawing layer!

Love this idea. I frequently share info with non-Gaia users by taking a screenshot of my map, and then using Apple's markup tools to circle or highlight areas. Would be amazing to have built-in tools and the ability to save markup in a layer.
