request for a feature that requires a password to stop a track

hi, i love the app.  for the most part it works great and is super friendly.  i have had a few problems with it stopping my tracks though.  would it be possible to add some sort of feature that you can turn on a 'lock' so that it doesn't stop your track unless you unlock it with a password?  also, if the track does stop for some bug reason, it immediately starts a new track?  it's always a bummer to get back to the car and realize the app stopped half way through your adventure :(

  I'm sorry you had trouble with track recording. What device do you use Gaia GPS on, is it iOS or Android?

  Hi again,

  This sounds like an issue that we're tracking currently. Do you mind sending logs to support so I can include them in a bug report? Go to Gaia GPS > Settings > Send Logs and mention my name in the message so it gets routed back to me.
