Gaia GPS will not install from Apple Store on ios 11

I just purchased a new iphone 7 and when I try to install Gaia GPS from the Apple store, I just get the worm chasing its tail indefinitely. Help!

  Trouble installing is typically an issue with the App Store app.

   

  Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

  1. Restart your device

  2. Try switching WiFi networks

  3. If using cellular data, make sure cellular is enabled for the App Store app

  4. Ensure you have enough storage space to install the app (the Gaia GPS app is 128 MB)
