Download Tile Limit
Previously when downloading maps for offline use, I experienced a 100,000 tile limit on download size. Now I am getting a limit of 10,000 tiles. Is this a function of a particular layer that is included in my download, a policy change by Gaia, or something else? If it s a layer issue, please let me know where I can see limits by map layer to avoid this problem. If a policy change, please explain further (and I would voice my disappointment). FYI, I'm using iOS.
Thanks,
Brad

Hi,
Most maps in Gaia GPS have a 100,000 tile per download limit with no limit to the number of downloads you can make.
MapBox (including satellite) and Neotreks maps have a 10,000 tile limit with a total download limit of 160,000 tiles as we pay per tile download for these maps and they are quite expensive.

Ashli, this is good to know. I never understood the limitation either. Is the limit per download and total limit documented in the help?
When I try to download a map over the tile limit, I get a notification telling me to choose fewer tiles. No problem.
If I go to my areas and the number of tiles exceeds the limit, it still lets me download - but what is it downloading? Is it stopping the download once it gets to the tile limit?
