Elevation Look up
I uploaded some routes from GPX files, and I'd like to get elevation data for the route. I found an article that shows how to "Look up elevation" for iOS, but nothing similar for android or the online tool. Can any one give me directions on how to get the elevation profile for this route to display with the statistics?
Thanks!

Hi,
I opened an internal feature request to get elevation lookups added on Android, too!
For your route -- you could create a new version with the route planner that includes the elevation profile.
From the page in your screenshot above, click Show on Main Map.
From there, click create, and create route -- then trace your route on the page to make and save a new version.

I am also pining for this feature on Android and the desktop / web app. The Gaia native route planner seems to lose its ability to derive elevation data once you deviate from OSM predetermined paths.

For the time being, run the GPX tracks through the web app "GPS visualizer" first using the elevation lookup tab. Then upload to GAIA.

"run the GPX tracks through the web app 'GPS visualizer' first using the elevation lookup tab"
I was able to upload my .gpx from caltopo to GPS Visualizer's Elevation Lookup Tab, which is indeed able to spit back out a .gpx with elevation data. This successfully uploads/imports back into Gaia with elevation data filled in! Thanks for the workaround in the interim.

Can we get a feature for the online site to lookup elevations similar to the option used in iOS?
