Route no longer follows the trail
The route I was creating followed the trails for the first 30 miles and then would only draw straight lines. I tried deleting and resetting the route and also tried closing and reloading the map. Neither worked. It now looks like the entire route has become straight lines. It no longer follows any of the trails.

I'm sorry you had trouble creating a route
While there is no official limit to the amount of points you can add to a route, I'd say about 9 is where you'll start to notice the route building get slower. The Snap-to-Trail feature only needs a few points to complete the route.
For your convenience, here is a copy of the entire Timberline Trail Loop around Mt. Hood. Select the “+ Add to My Routes” option to add the route to your account.0 -
Are there any intentions to improve performance of the Snap-To routing? This is extremely limiting when attempting to map a 4x4 route over forest roads with multiple intersections that confuse the Snapping.

@rapiddissent
Yes, the Development Team is currently looking into improving the Snap-to-Trail feature.
As for the route you are working on, can you send a copy of it to support@gaiagps.com so I can take a look and see what the issue might be?1
