Two years of the new Gaia GPS free?
I bought Gaia Classic a month or two ago. Now there is a new Gaia GPS. I understand that Classic owners get 2 years of Gaia GPS for free. It is my understanding that the new Gaia GPS includes Nat Geo trail maps, and I am interested in that. But - when I download Gaia GPS from iTunes all I get is a 7 day free trial, and (2) if I figure out how to get my 2 years of Gaia GPS, do the Nat Geo Trail maps cost extra?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for trying the new Gaia GPS.
Yes, you get 2 years of the standard Membership for free. This is in addition to the 7-day trial. I checked your account, and your 2 years got applied. Sorry that was confusing.
The NatGeo maps come with the Premium Membership, which is an extra cost.
Here are the two Membership types explained.
I noticed that you purchased a GaiaPro subscription in Gaia GPS Classic, which is equivalent to Premium. If you log in to your account from the new app, you'll be able to access NatGeo maps.

Hi vegasangler,
Your 2-year Membership has been activated. It should work as long as you are logged into the app.

@sgrundleger Gaia GPS used to cost $20 to download the app -- anyone who downloaded at that price got a free 2-year Membership ($10/year x 2 = $20).
If you're new, I'd suggest getting the 1 or 5-year Membership -- or consider getting a Premium Membership for more maps.

I'm sorry you are having an issue downloading an offline map.
Deleting and reinstalling the app should resolve this once you log back into the app.

@juan
The two free years of Gaia GPS Membership in the new version of Gaia GPS should have been automatically applied to your account, sorry about that.
I have taken care of this and you can access the free trial Gaia GPS Membership by logging into the app with your Gaia GPS account.
