Super large stats display for biking

I'd like to use GaiaGPS while biking (I have a handlebar mount for iPhone), but the stats display is way too small to safely read while clipping along at speed. It would be nice to have a customizable stats screen with huge fonts to display speed, distance, average speed, etc. And i mean HUGE font. Would take up the entire screen. This is necessary to safely see the stats at a glance.

The Paceline app in the app store is a good example of this. But Paceline is terrible with battery life and does not have maps and all the other cool features Gaia has.
