alarm when off route?

Is it possible to have an alarm when you veer significantly off a pre-planned route?

  No, currently Gaia GPS does not have that feature.

  I too think this is an important feature.  It would be great to be able to toggle on or off.  I find myself getting off trail due to early conditions here in the Sierra.  Please add this feature.

  yes please.  That could help a lot on previously unknown tracks (and display off)

  I could also see a use for an option for setting an alarm that could notify within "X" distance from a marked location - could be very useful for travelling at night or misty/rainy conditions when visibility is a problem - a help-keep-on-track App!
