GAIA app on Iphone slow to get a sat. signal at 5800 feet in remote location.  Did not work at all under our tarptent, but did finally load up once outside the tarp.....??

  I’m sorry you had trouble getting a GPS signal.

  The quickest way to acquire a GPS signal lock, is to be outside with a clear view of the horizons.
