Bug - Gaia Carplay defaults to street map even when phone is in topo.

After starting carplay, I have to open my phone app each time and select topo, even if it's already selected in the phone, only then does it update the carplay map.

I'm disappointed in Gaia's lack of functionality on carplay so far, hopefully some improvements are in the works for those of us using it in the boonies as intended.

  I have the same problem. A workaround: change the order of the displayed map layers on your iPhone. This seems to somehow reset the CarPlay interface and solve the problem. I do this every time I open Gaia on CarPlay. Annoying bug!
