Issues while in "Guide me" mode.
While in the "guide me" mode the app does not respond to commands or is seriously lagged in responding. Such as zooming in or out or any other command for that matter - I have seen up to a 30second or more lag before the app completes a command.
I have experienced this almost every time I am in the guide me mode - I have passed by waypoints and marked turns because of this lag and it is becoming a serious issue while navigating in this mode.
I have been using Gaia for a very long time and never before have I experienced issues like this until I updated.
I have deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled in an attempt to fix this but so far the problem persists.
I am using an I phone 13.
Little help please.

Also occurring with iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Thank you for your attention.

Me too, to the point that Gaia latches up after ~ 2 minutes and I have to exit the app. I'm running it on an iPhone 6s, iOS is up to date (15.7.6). I've had Gaia for about 8 months and have started using "Guide Me" for the first time to get some practice in advance of an upcoming Overlanding type of trip. I submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago and no love so far.

Same here with IPhone 13 Pro. And if you too far away from the route you are following the app crashes.
Is there already a solution? Please?

Same problem here, iPhone 13 Pro. I’m new to Gaia, tried my first route with Guide Me today and it was unusable.

Same issue here, Iphone 14 pro max. I'm new to Gaia and agree that the mapping features are great, but the apps seems useless for actual guidance in the field. Supposedly this app is great for overlanding, BDR, etc., but is that just marketing? Any response from Gaia on this?

Ahh yes. Official response was that they have been hearing this from many users, and that a bug report has been created. No ETA for a fix as of 12 Aug when they replied to my ticket. But does sound like they’re actively working on it so fingers crossed.
