android 11 sd card access

Is anyone else having similar issues to this .

i own a Samsung Android 10.1" Galaxy Tab Active Pro Tablet Unlocked with sim

i am not able to move the root folder to the SD card I have tried every workaround i could think of .

the SD card appears as a choice when you try to move it it says it cannot access this folder

I think I recall it working before Samsung pushed Android 11 to my tablet

I'm just trying to sort out whether it's an Android 11 issue, my tablet model, or a Gaia issue

I put in a ticket with Gaia #(792773).

I got a swift response from them reading.

[ After talking to the engineering it's possible that is an Android version issue. Newer Android versions may not be compatible with this feature and we may need to upgrade code on our end.
We do not currently have plans to upgrade this code, but you can submit a feature request here.
That will make sure it gets routed to the Product team to consider in future updates.]

i pit a  put in a feature request ticket to Gaia

As the last resort I may put something into Samsung but I’ve never got a response before

Since some products are already on Android 13 I would think it would have been caught by now I know Android 11 had some new SD card security features https://developer.android.com/about/versions/11/behavior-changes-all

Just trying to put this out there just help them see if it’s a Global issue
