Gaia GPS is now a part of the Outside family. This means you'll use the same email and password to log into Gaia GPS and Outside.
If you already had an Outside account prior to signing up for Gaia GPS, or you recently purchased an Outside+ subscription and it's not showing up in your Gaia GPS account, you may need to merge your Outside and Gaia GPS accounts together.
You can merge your accounts from your settings page here: https://www.gaiagps.com/settings/
Most Gaia GPS accounts were automatically merged with Outside in late 2021.
If you don't see the Merge your Outside Account form on your settings page, that means your account was already successfully merged.
If you do see the Merge your Outside Account form follow these steps to merge your accounts:
Merge your Gaia GPS account with your Outside Account
1) Sync your latest data from the app
Before merging your account, make sure your app data is synced to your web account with these steps:
- Open app and tap Settings > Account > Last Sync
- When the sync is finished, it should display the time next to Last Sync. Verify that it shows a recent time before merging your account.
2) Log in to your Gaia GPS account. Then visit https://www.gaiagps.com/settings/
3) Complete the Merge your Outside Account form. If you don't currently have an Outside account, you can create one here.
4) While your account is merging you will see a "Merging your account..." message. You will then see a success message once the account merge is complete. You will automatically be logged out of the website. You will need to log back in using your Outside email address and password. Your previous Gaia GPS log in credentials will no longer be valid.
5) If the merge is not successful, you will see a message with further instructions.
Current Outside+ Members
If you purchased an Outside+ Membership, click the Redeem Outside+ button on the My Subscriptions page.
1. If necessary, follow the merge accounts steps noted above.
2. After logging back in to your account, visit https://www.gaiagps.com/user/subscriptions/.
3. Click Redeem Outside+
