Layered Maps requires a Premium Membership.
Layered maps allows you to select several map sources for download at one time to combine while offline. Downloading multiple layers at once simplifies the download process even if you don't plan to layer the maps together.
2. Turn on Layered Maps.
3. Make the layer(s) active by tapping the green up arrow.
4. Change the opacity by moving the slider. Change the order by tapping and dragging. The base map will be set to 100% opacity and any additional layers can have their opacity adjusted. The maximum amount of base map layers is 5. There is no limit for overlays.
5. To download the maps for offline use, follow these steps: Download Maps for Offline Use. When offline, the layered map is not frozen--you can still change opacity and add and remove the downloaded layers.
6. To remove a layer from the active or visible menu, tap the red "x" next to the layer.
