If you are interested in upgrading your Gaia GPS Membership, follow these instructions based on how you originally purchased your membership.

Apple App Store Subscription
If you have a Gaia GPS Standard Membership from the App Store and you would like to upgrade to a Premium Membership follow these steps:
- Open the Gaia GPS App on your device
- Go to Settings > Account > Purchase Subscription
- On the next page, select the Premium Membership
- At the bottom, tap Subscribe
You will be charged for a Premium Membership, and refunded a prorated amount for your standard Membership. It can take up to 24 hours to see the credit for your original membership purchase.
Google Play Store Subscription
If you have a Gaia GPS Standard Membership from the Google Play Store and you would like to upgrade to a Premium Membership follow these steps:
- Open the Gaia GPS App on your device
- Go to Settings > Account > Purchase Subscription
- On the next page, select the Premium Membership
- At the bottom, tap Go Premium!
You will not be charged anything to upgrade. Instead any remaining time that you currently have left on your standard membership will be converted to a Premium Membership. For example, if you had 10 months of standard membership remaining it will be converted to 5 months of Premium membership.
gaiagps.com Subscription
If you have a Gaia GPS Standard Membership purchased on gaiagps.com and you would like to upgrade to a Premium Membership follow these steps:
- Go to https://www.gaiagps.com/premium/
- Click the green price button and follow the steps to upgrade your Membership
You will be charged the prorated amount that is displayed.

I recently subscribed to GaiaGPS and think I have version 6.7.5 (that's what it says in Settings>User Manual & Support). My friend has GaiaPro version 1.1.1. It has more features than mine. I'd like to upgrade to GaiaPro. But when I go to Settings>Account, Purchase Subscription does not appear, so I can't find the way to upgrade.
How do I do this? My tablet is Android.

To change an Apple subscription to Premium Membership, you can cancel your subscription on the App Store and go to this special url: https://www.gaiagps.com/premium/?allowappstoreupgrade
Your app store purchase won't expire until the end of your current subscription. You'll get charged on the day your app store subscription expires for one year of the Premium Membership at the rate of $29.99.
I want to upgrade to Premium. I canceled my Apple subscription using the instructions here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039 . However, if I go to the link above (https://www.gaiagps.com/premium/?allowappstoreupgrade) it just says "You have a Gaia GPS Member subscription that will end on 11/05/2018.". There's no way to upgrade.

I'm sorry for there was an issue with your membership and I noticed you also sent us an email. I've followed up with you by email with instructions on how to restore your membership that was purchased in the app.

Hi GAIA GPS. I'm a standard member and want to upgrade to Premium using the promotional deal I get as a member of the Mountaineers. I've been going in circles trying to figure out how to do that. Can someone there flip a switch and "make it so"? ;-)

I had Premium last year, but accidentally purchased Standard this year. When I try to upgrade there is no "Purchase Subscription" in Settings as mentioned by Ashli above. When I try and upgrade on my laptop, it seems to send me iin circles back to my account settings on my iphone. For such an intuitive and easy to use App, why is upgrading such a challenge? Please advise

I'm sorry you are having trouble upgrading. If you do not see 'Purchase Subscription' you can also upgrade your membership directly in the App Store by following these steps from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
