I wish all of the Gaia GPS Help articles would specify what Hardware Platform and Application Version the article is referring to.

I'm new to Gaia GPS -- and love the product -- but more often than not the screens and instructions I'm reading about in these Help articles don't track very closely with what I'm seeing on my iPhone app.

For example, this article from "1 month ago" has a screen showing Version 7.0.0, and yet my iPhone app is using Version 1.6.1

Seeing such a huge difference in version numbers, I'm assuming you're using some other platform than Gaia GPS for iPhone. It's the only explanation for why I don't see any "Check Downloads" selection in the Map Downloads section of my app's settings screen.

JohnHolmes889e03dc55724f8a, this article is for androids, I think that might be some of the confusion for you. I don't have an Apple product right now so I'm not 100% sure.

    Hi John,

Here is the link to all of the iOS Help articles: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/categories/115000707988-iOS. Sorry for the confusion.

You can view which version of the Help Center an article is from by checking the header for each article.

iOS refers to Apple devices like iPhone and iPad.
