There is a Windows bug preventing iTunes zip files from exporting to the desktop correctly. However, it is still possible to export your data in the iOS version of Gaia GPS directly to a PC through iTunes using the iOS Files app. The steps outlined in this article also work while offline.
1. Open the details page for a track, waypoint, or route
2. Tap the Action icon in the top right corner, then select “Export”
3. Choose your preferred file type
4. Select the “Save to Files” option
5. Under the On My iPhone section, select the Numbers folder and tap “Add”
6. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable (which should launch iTunes)
7. In iTunes, select your device from the menu on the top of the iTunes window
8. In the File Sharing settings, navigate to Numbers within Apps list
9. Select the GPX/KML file that was exported from Gaia GPS and click “Add File”
10. Create a new folder or select an existing folder to save your GPX/KML file to and click “Select Folder”
11. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder to access the GPX/KML file
