Forget to stop recording before driving home. Need to edit out drive portion of saved route.

A common problem I have when hiking with GAIA is that when I get back to my car, I drive home and forget to stop the recording. This messes up my numbers of course. So I'm trying to figure out how to edit my saved routes, taking out the drive portion. It seems frustratingly hard to figure out how to do this simple thing. When I enter the edit feature, nothing really works. On the phone ap, there's a slide at the bottom, but nothing happens when I move it. Using my computer at home, I can't see any way to do this. Anyone know a simple method?

  Same here. I suspect there is a very simple approach to this but I can't figure it out either.

  And as a newbie, I have two trips that I did in the car w/o turning off GAIA.  I'd like to delete those trips from my "Activities" window.

  Android version: Tap the track on your screen, then tap the "Edit" icon.  At the bottom of the screen is a horizontal line (mine is green) with a round handle on each end.  To remove the drive, slide the handle on the right, to the left until the desired amount of track has been removed.  Then tap the "Save" icon in the upper right corner.
