Gaia gpx files do not upload anymore on garmin connect

Since one month now all my own created gpx files in gaia gps will not upload to Garmin connect. I need this as I use my fenix watch for navigation on ultraruns through the wild. What changed to gaia gps coding that Garmin cannot read the exported gpx files? Thanks for proposing a solution!
