Best mobile device for Gaia and still be affordable

I thought I had it all.  Happy with Gaia gps and my Iphone    in the back country.    Then I saw my buddies Samsung 21 Ultra.  Perfect size screen  for use in my ATV.  But the best part was the screen brightness.  Way brighter than my Iphone 6s Plus (yes its old but I like it.)   The Samsung  is brighter than  newest  Iphones as well.

So my question.  Is there a smart  phone or small tablet any brand  that comes close to the 21 or 22 Ultra.in screen brightness?  I will stick with Apple for my phone.. but I would sure like to have that  bright screen for mapping duties.   Or do I just  wait a year until the shine is off the new Samsung?
