New cell phone
Purchased a new 13pro, apps all transferred, none of my saved maps ,tracks or waypoints did. Have refreshed. Contacted GAIA two days ago, and nada.

From my recent experience if you have the items saved on the website, ie archived, it’s only saved data about the items, not the actual data. All the maps will have to be downloaded to the new phone off the internet.
The other part of this I recently experienced on my iPhone 13 pro when I set all 65 layered maps in the phone storage to archived and had Sync/backup set on in settings Gaia immediately set all map storage to zero though iOS reported that Gaia was still using all 237gb storage. Could not recover the maps on the phone, so I am out 4 months downloading and am starting over.0 -
Walt,, when I log into the GAIA site via my computer, all the waypoints and tracks are still showing. Just nothing on my new phone. Hoping someone can give me pointers as if I can transfer the data. I have scheduled a call with GAIA, but not until Thursday.

Check on the website lists my waypoints and my tracks that each item on the sync column is set to on. Then in the Gaia app in settings select last sync which should spin until complete. If you had sync/backup set it should have done a sync automatically, but I have found that is unreliable and do it manually.
That loaded all my waypoints, tracks, routes and so on on my iPhone 13 pro max when I first set it up. Only layered maps don’t work properly, as there is no real backup of map data so that has to be downloaded, and I have found Gaia often loses track of downloaded map storage. That often can require spending all the time for a redownload. And that’s why I do not trust Gaia for emergency use offline.0 -
I have tried everything, even clearing all the layered maps. Synced the app several times and also nothing. E mailed Gaia 1/2 dozen times, finally received a response. I have a phone call scheduled with a human, Thursday between 1300-1530. This just might push me back to Ox...

Let us know what they say or suggest doing.
When they turned on map pack’s over the weekend with no warning that resulted in all my stored maps being lost.
I am currently setting up all my stored maps after using iOS to delete everything and reinstalling. Though it obviously is still buggy that is working.
I certainly am preserving all my other cartography sources. Don’t trust Gaia to be useful for much longer.0 -
Walt. I'm a member of several hunting forums. Was informed to log out of GAIA on my phone buy a forum member , and log back in. I did so and all my data is now there. waypoints, tracks and routs.
All is good now
