Not moving on map

In a remote area commonly the Arrow stops moving even though I have . It will sometimes catch up to my position after me trying turning on off location services and turning on off app. Will a better phone fix this? With better GPS? Was using Huawei y7 Doesn't happen near towns . I believe I did try switching on the GPS only phone feature .
