erroneous mapping

I have a Moto Z 4 phone and Gaia every once in while just goes off the rails. Really strange routes that in no way actually map what I did. I reset my phone and enabled location services. Reset my phone made sure it was updated. Its like 10% of the time the app is useless because of erroneous coordinates. Really hard to talk to Gaia. They dont seem to welcome input from users.
