Adding Waypoints to an Existing Track

I went on a drive, created a track to record where I went and added a couple of waypoints as I was driving. Now I'm back home, looking at the track on my computer and want to add more waypoints to my track. I can add waypoints, but they don't embed into the track. I want to be able to export this track to a .gpx file to share with my newly added waypoints. Is there a way to do this?

  I am in the same boat. I believe you can download the geojson associated with the track, edit it to add waypoints and re-upload it, but this requires a fair amount of technical expertise. You have to be comfortable hand editing YAML files. Disclaimer in that I have not tried this, but it should theoretically work.

  To bad it's not easier than that. Thanks for the reply, I'll look into it. Kind of disappointed with the support or tutorials offered by Gaia. Seems the only way to know something is by a third party posting a video on youtube.
