    Update

Android interface now  allows you to choose when you archive a track by asking you if you want to delete the waypoints associated with that track

Why are they calling it delete when you're archiving they  got to get their terminology straight or do they really mean delete??

If you choose not to delete it archives the track and   the waypoints  remain on your phone

The problem is is there is a paradox  between android and the website

After that if you go to Gaia GPS .com and check the The track that you Archived it  is actually archived .

but the waypoints associated with it are also archived

So a website is showing you one thing and your phone is showing you something else

I appreciate the fact that they give you the option in Android but it really doesn't do any good if it doesn't change anything in the database on gaiaGps.com

In the website The track and the waypoints are inextricably linked together if you delete the track  it still deletes all the waypoints that are associated with There is no way around it except exporting and re importing

You would think that the website would be a little easier to reprogram because it's a web interface
