Saved route elevation metrics

Can someone say what the (supposedly elevation) values that appear at the bottom of the screen in route edit mode refer to? [468 ft (205 ft)] in the route_edit screen shot attached.They are radically different than those that are presented in the route statistics screen. route_statistics screen shot also attached.

This is Android app btw.

  Sorry for the confusion.
  
  In the screenshot, 468 ft refers to the route's vertical ascent, and (205 ft) refers to the route's vertical descent.
  
  We have had one other report of elevation stats changing when saved.
  
  I have an open bug report for this issue and we’re continuing to track it in our system, but unfortunately, don’t have an ETA on when you can expect a fix.

  So that I understand: the '1097 (-831)' values for Ascent in the Statistics panel for the route are incorrect? Thanks.
