Use portion of previously created route in a new route?
AnsweredFor example, I first create a route from a starting point to a 'Y' junction and continue the route on the right fork and then complete the route. Later I want to create another route from the same starting point but this time take the left fork. Is there a way to copy the portion of the first route from the starting point to the 'Y' junction and paste it at the beginning of the second route so I don't have to recreate that portion on the second route?
I forgot to mention that I'm creating both these routes manually point by point.
Sincere Thanks

There isn't a direct way to do this, but here a couple workarounds:
1. create a route to the Y and then create 2 different routes on each fork.
2. create the route for one fork, export it, and then import it. You can't edit the imported route, but you can edit the original one you created, so edit the original route for the other fork. Here are the steps for exporting and importing.- Export Data as GPX, KML, or GeoJSON from gaiagps.com
- Import GPX, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, or FIT Files on gaiagps.com
