Public land shading in other countries
Hi Gaia, love your Topo map updates! This is a long shot given your USA focus but is there any chance that the public land colour scheme could be regionalised so it works as well in other countries? In Australia we don’t have any National Forests or BLM land but we have enormous areas of public land called State Forests, that are managed by state governments for wood production, recreation and conservation. These don’t show up in color on Gaia, leaving blank places where lots of people visit. If your coding scheme could be regionalised then these would look great if they could be shown in a distinct colour (e.g. in the BLM color so they are distinct from national parks etc). I’m active on open street maps and can provide advice on the OSM tags that tag state forests across the country if local advice is useful. Thanks Ian

Bike, does the private land layer work in Australia?

No, that layer only has data for the USA unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers.
