Saved Maps

I love the saved map feature because I am using Gaia in the woods. The problem is that it does not appear that my waypoints download. They are visible on my saved map but when I enlarge the map or move it around on my screen I lose the wapypoints (routes). It can take several minutes for them to reappear. I assume this is a reception issue. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Hi Pete,
Any waypoints or routes that you create on your device are saved locally to your device.
Once you download a map for offline use, it will display in the background behind any waypoints, tracks, or routes that are saved on your device.
Are you using an SD card to store Gaia GPS data? If so, check to make sure you don't have the app saved to your SD card. Here is more information about that: Move Where Gaia GPS's Root Folder is Located (For SD Card Storage)
