Syncing and .gpx
So I am building my trip for next year on my Macbook Pro and even though it is laggy on wifi it seems to be easier than using mobile. It seems like creating routes between two points will actually follow a road when selecting drive and on mobile it draws a straight line.
Also I downloaded someone’s .gpx and they had multiple segments (daily trek) each in a different color. I changed all of these to orange on my laptop. My issue is when I sync with mobile it shows the route, but not in the orange, instead in the original multiple colors. It also doesn’t move all of the waypoints.
How do I get the mobile to sync what my laptop has?

Hey @unsung,
I'm sorry you are having trouble with Gaia GPS - I addressed each issue inline below:
It seems like creating routes between two points will actually follow a road when selecting drive and on mobile it draws a straight line.- If you're connected to Wifi, snap-to-trail should work as expected. Will you zoom in on your route points and try to move them closer to the road/trail you're snapping to? That may work for you.
My issue is when I sync with mobile it shows the route, but not in the orange, instead in the original multiple colors. It also doesn’t move all of the waypoints.- It may take a few syncs for you to see the colors properly between devices. Here's how to easily start another sync: Force a Sync with GaiaGPS.com
If you are still having trouble, can send a link to the routes you are working on to support@gaiagps.com so we can take a closer look at what's going on?0 - If you're connected to Wifi, snap-to-trail should work as expected. Will you zoom in on your route points and try to move them closer to the road/trail you're snapping to? That may work for you.
