Why is my default Kansas, when i have a profile set for my hometown?
why does the "create route" consistently snap to roads and highways outside of the parks i'm trying to set a hike route within?
I have tried this on my iphone and desktop.

Default Location
When you visit the website, it is trying to guess your location but sometimes it is wrong. It does not use your profile's set hometown, although that is a great suggestion.
Creating a Route
Can you send a copy the route that is snapping to roads and highways to support@gaiagps.com so we can take a closer look at this area? Please also give us a description of the trails you are trying to have the route follow.
The route maker uses trails marked on Gaia Topo to know where to snap to - we can check these trails are properly labeled on the map in the area you are exploring.0
