    I should mention;

    I'm saving the file from Google Earth Pro on my Windows 7 PC.  Then emailing it to myself. Then on my phone I open the attachment (kml file) in email and pick the share symbol and pick "Copy to Gaia GPS".

    I'm sorry there was an issue importing the KML file.

    Can you click "Submit a Request" above and include a copy of the KML file so we can take a closer look?

    I just uploaded a (greatly) simplified kml file that exhibits the same failure.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the update and sending a copy of the KML file. It looks like Chris has responded to your questions and is following up with you on this.

    I am consistently experiencing this problem with KMLs created from Arc layer files. The KMLs load perfectly in Google Earth, but Gaia continues to tell me that the import has failed. Same issue with .gpx files derived from point and polyline data. There really needs to be a better way to work between Arc products and Gaia. My colleagues have found some very convoluted hacks, but I'm hoping for a more streamlined process....

    Hey GUMP,
    Currently, Gaia GPS is able to handle KML/GPX files that contain track, route, and waypoint data. Can you send a copy of your file to support@gaiagps.com and we can take a closer look at this?
