Placing waypoint

Can you place a waypoint if you already know the coordinates, but are having trouble visually finding it on the map? Using the Browser version.

  There may be a more direct way than this, but here's what I've done.

  1. Choose a lat/long grid overlay in the coordinates you're using.

  2. type the decimal degree coordinates in the search box (xx.xx, yyy.yy where x is latitude [ - S hemisphere] and y is longitude [ - W hemisphere] then search.

  3.  The point should end up as the center of the screen, zoom in w/o moving the map and check via the overlaid grid.

  4. Choose create way point and click the center of the zoomed in screen.
