Laptop Browser View

I cannot figure out what keeps going wrong here, but every time I try to view the gaiagps website on my laptop browser, I get what looks like the iOS page. Looks like this:

There's no scroll bar and no place to log in. It comes up normally on my desktop computer. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong!

I'm on this computer:

and using Chrome, Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit). By the way, it works as expected in Safari, but I hate Safari and can't stand to use it for anything. Any ideas, anybody? Is there some cookie or something that needs to be deleted?
