New phone upgraded my Gaia app now I can not download maps without a subscription

I bought a new phone and moved all my apps from my old phone to my new phone.  My old phone had an older version of the Gaia app that cost $20 but then had unlimited free map downloads.  My phone must have automatically updated my Gaia app to a newer version and now I can not download maps without paying a subscription.  Is there any way to put the older version on my new phone so I don't have to pay a subscription?
