Pre-Configured Flag Icons for Start and Finish of Routes/Tracks

Is there a way to quickly add a feature to show the start and end of each route/track with well know flags - green for start and chequered for finish - as shown in the attached screenshot? This is relevant for all platforms (iOS, Android, dotcom).

I have often struggled to know which is the start or finish of a route, especially where there are many routes in a given area.
