Undelete a track that got deleted from cellphone

I have this same question. I had just finished recording a track and somehow I deleted it just in the handling of the phone.
This is an important issue, as I had just arrived back at Incident Base on a Search and Rescue mission and was going to share the track of a sector we just searched. Somehow, with the screen on, but not looking at it, I must have touched something on the screen and when I did look at the screen, my track was gone.
If there is no way to recover it, at least may I suggest you add some kind of feature so that cancelling recording or deleting a recorded track must be confirmed?
Of course, I don't know if this is what happened. Perhaps it was a bug that you are aware of and fixing. In any case, it'd be nice to get a response from the developers or support on this.
Thanks.

Similar problem. Deleted from website and then it deleted from iOS. Is there a recycle bin?

Hi there,
There isn't a recycling bin for deleted data on the website. When tracks (or any other data) are deleted from the website, this permanently deletes it and unfortunately, we are not able to recover these files.
If a track is backed up on gaiagps.com, when it is deleted from the app, it will be archived on the website.
