Can my wife see where I am on trail via gaiagps.com?

When I am out on the trail backpacking and using my GAIAGPS app to track my route, is it possible for my wife to log into gaiagps.com on her computer at home and see my current location?

  You might be able share a folder with her, then manually drop waypoints into the folder as you travel. Requires an internet connection of course. You might be able to find a way to automate this depending on your mobile platform... iOS or Android.

  I wouldn't count on it.  A lot of places in the backcountry won't have any cell coverage, so there would be no way to get your location data from your phone up to gaiagps.com.
